We have partnered with Sylvania HS Wrestling programs to offer the First Annual Battle for the Belts! This tournament is geared to wrestlers of all age groups (grades K-12) and will be a great way for children to gain mat time and gain instruction through the technique camp that is also being offered. The program will be held at the Sylvania Tam O Shanter Sports & Exhibition Center which will accommodate three times the amount of mat surfaces than a high school gymnasium.

Centennial Quarry, a deep-water, spring-fed swimming facility with an average depth of about 22 ft., features diving platforms, water toys like an aqua-bobber, a water teeter-totter, a log roller, several swim rafts, a beautiful sandy beach as well as 3 sand volleyball courts and a basketball court. It has become a great place for teens and young adults to spend sultry summer days. Season passes as well as daily admissions are available.

We offer several sports camps through the Summer months. Below is a list of camps that we traditionally offer.
Summer Camp programs

The areas best fireworks show and party, Sylvania's Star Spangled Celebration will be held on Friday; July 3rd from 7:00 PM - Midnight at Centennial Terrace. Centennial Terrace is located at Centennial Rd. and Erie St. in Sylvania.

Fireworks will begin around 10:00 PM. Dancing with live music by Bonkers, clowns, rides for the kids, activities and lots of food and drinks make it fun for the whole family.

Admission is only $5.00, children 12 and under $3.00. Parking fee: $5.00 per car.
-
No carry-in food or beverages will be permitted at Centennial Terrace.
The fireworks may also be viewed from Sylvania Pacesetter Park, 8801 Sylvania - Metamora Rd.

 In an effort to continue to educate our volunteer coaches about proper techniques and fundamentals, we are excited to introduce the following videos from Sport Skool at NO COST to you. We recommend that all volunteer coaches to go through the online sports specific training videos for the sport that you are coaching each season so that you can help the young athletes on your team learn and develop properly.
We will also offer live versions of sport specific training periodically, so please check back for updated information on training dates on a regular basis.

 Plummer Pool is a City of Sylvania owned facitilty that is operated by the Sylvania Recreation Corporation.
During the Sylvania City School year, hours of operation are: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Regular hours are followed for weekends during the school year schedule (see below).
Sylvania City Schools summer break hours are:
11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
11:00 AM - 8:00 (Saturday)
1:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Sunday)
Hours of operation are the Saturday prior to Memorial Day through Labor Day.
