Centennial Quarry, a deep-water, spring-fed swimming facility with an average depth of about 22 ft., features diving platforms, water toys like an aqua-bobber, a water teeter-totter, a log roller, several swim rafts, a beautiful sandy beach as well as 3 sand volleyball courts and a basketball court. It has become a great place for teens and young adults to spend sultry summer days. Season passes as well as daily admissions are available.

Are you looking for a season end tournament for the boys in your house league? Look no further! Sylvania Recreation is pleased to announce the First Annual Rec baseball Team Invitational at Pacesetter Park. Travel teams are not permitted to register for this tournament as it's intent is exclusively geared towards Recreational teams from around the NW Ohio and SE Michigan area.

As part of our website upgrade, we now accept registrations exclusively on-line. To use our registration module, you must first build your adult profile. Upon completing your profile, you will then have the capability to add all of the children who live in your household to your account.
Once you familiarize yourself with our site, it will become more convenient for you to register your children and stay current with the activities that we offer.
Our site is set up to accept credit card/debit card payments on-line through a Verisign secure payment method. If you would prefer to pay by check or cash, you may register your child at our office by using one of our on-line workstations.

 Plummer Pool is a City of Sylvania owned facitilty that is operated by the Sylvania Recreation Corporation.
During the Sylvania City School year, hours of operation are: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
Regular hours are followed for weekends during the school year schedule (see below).
Sylvania City Schools summer break hours are:
11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday)
11:00 AM - 8:00 (Saturday)
1:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Sunday)
Hours of operation are the Saturday prior to Memorial Day through Labor Day.

The Sylvania Recreation Corporation (SRC), was established in 1994 in order to develop top - notch recreational programs and facilities. The Sylvania Area Joint Recreation District (SAJRD) funds the SRC in addition to funds that are generated by program user fees. Since it's inception in 1988, program participation has grown by an incredible 200%. Outstanding recreational opportunities became a reality with the development of Sylvania Pacesetter Park.
Pacesetter park is a 138 acre multipurpose sports turf facility, that is located just west of downtown Sylvania. We strive to be the leader in providing quality programs and facilities to the community. Parks and Recreation, the benefits are ENDLESS! |
