- The junior golf program is designed for the beginner or intermediate level player. The program consists of 1 hour of instruction and 2 hours of on course play. A skills assessment will determine whether your child is an intermediate or a beginner. The skills assessment is necessary for the participants to ensure we are providing the proper amount of instruction to your child.
- Intermediates will spend more time on the course and beginners will receive more instruction to prepare them for the on-course portion of the program.
- The staff includes a PGA Professional, Larry DuVall, former PGA Professional, former St. John Jesuit Varsity Golf coach, and Sylvania Recreation Programs Staff. Area High School players and other avid golfers in the community also assist with the program.
- Golf Clubs, golf shoes and proper golf attire are necessary. Golf shoes must have soft spikes.
